Spoken word artists, poets, rappers, country/western singers, dancers, any and all performers are welcome! Hope Is Alive! is not a talent show. First timers are highly encouraged to take to the stage.
The Hope Is Alive! Open Mic Series raises awareness about mental health struggles, substance use disorders, suicide and suicide loss. We strive to use art and performance to fight stereotypes, promote healing and understanding.
There have been more than twenty open mic nights since 2015. Check out these videos of a few of the past performances.
When: Saturday, May 4, 2024 | Performers sign-in at 10 a.m. and the show runs from 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
