If someone is expressing thoughts of harming themselves or others, and safety is an issue, call 9-1-1 or go to a hospital emergency room.
If someone is in distress, and safety is not an issue:
Hill Country CARE Center
Call (530) 691-4446 or walk in to 1401 Gold St. in Redding. Open from 12 – 9 p.m. on weekdays and 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. on weekends and holidays.
Shasta County Mental Health Access
Call (530) 225-5252 24-hours a day for assistance. Or, walk in to 2640 Breslauer Way on weekdays, between the hours of 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
National Suicide Prevention Lifeline
Call 9-8-8.
California Peer Run Warmline
Call 1 (855) 845-7415 for non-emergency emotional support.
Wellness and Recovery Program
People with Partnership and Medi-Cal insurance can call 1 (855) 765-9703 to get connected with services.
Private Insurance
People with private insurance should contact their insurance company or reach out to their primary care provider.
